We bought a stainless steel garbage can the opens when you put your hand near the top. My husband is disabled and can’t ouch down with his foot. This trash can looks nice and works well. We’ve had it for 8 years without any problems. It is well worth the price we paid.

You and me and our Dyson cordless vacuums! Two hairy dogs are too much of a challenge for other cordless vacuums but my Dyson just keeps humming along and sucking up that hair.

A burr coffee grinder and a coffee maker with adjustable temperature on the warming plate: specifically these two things have made making coffee at home the best option. The coffee grinder felt like an expensive purchase upfront, but I have used it for many years with minimal maintenance and no problems. If it died tomorrow, I'd order another one immediately.
